Aloha kakou,
As the fall months are heading our way, we are reminded of so many of our guests and ohana that are seasonal attenders at LBC. We have been blessed to have many of our returning company over the past months of 2010 and we look forward to many who are coming in the winter months ahead. We are truly thankful to our Lord for giving us the opportunity to have such a wonderful extended ohana to serve and grow alongside of us. We pray for God’s greatest blessings for you all in the months ahead.
We have been blessed with two gifts to the ministry over the past month. In the church office, we are honored to have a gift from Doug Armfield, son of Rolland and Wilma Armfield. In Rolland and Wilma’s memory, Doug has given a grandfather clock of theirs to be used in the office. This beautiful clock is a treasure for us to remember the Armfield family. Please stop in and enjoy the sounds of this gift whenever you can!
We also have enjoyed the sounds of the Baby Grand Piano that has been given by Michael Nakano for use in the worship center. We are grateful for Mike’s gift but we are especially thankful for his leading us in worship in song on the 29th of August. This piano is another wonderful addition to the ministry at Lahaina Baptist and we praise the Lord for His providence in every area of our ministries.
Our students are back at school, so remember them in your prayers. This month, “See You At The Pole” is back on our Lahaina campuses -- keep your eyes open for more info and how you can effectively pray for our students and teachers.
